Update for OCHS Students on the Beginning of the 2016-17 School Year

A couple of reminders and updates for students as we begin our new school year:

1. Please remember that students need to abide by the Owen County Schools dress code, including no hat wearing in the building;

2. Beginning this fall, students will NOT be allowed to use earbuds or headphones of any kind unless a teacher issues them for use on an assignment. This includes time spent in the hallway or the cafeteria during the school day. This guideline is in place for because school staff need to be able to communicate with students at all times, and so that students may be kept safe more easily.

3. For students who bring in drinks and food to the school in the morning, all food and drink must be consumed before you leave the cafeteria in the morning. No outside drink cups are allowed in the building. Students may purchase water, juice and diet soft drinks in the building.

We appreciate your cooperation as we begin the 2016-17 school year.

Calling ALL PARENTS!!!

The 2016 FALL PARENT INFO Session SCHEDULE is ready!

Annual Parent School Improvement Survey

OCHS Parents are invited to give their input regarding the performance of OCHS in several areas.  The survey (link below) should take less than 10 minutes of your time, and it is a great help to the school as we create our improvement plans for the coming year!  Please be assured that your responses are anonymous; your honest consideration of our performance will help us become better at serving your student.  Thanks for your input and help!
