Hello! This is my 9th year teaching (3rd year at MBMS), and I'm excited to be teaching 6th grade English Language Arts again this year. Prior to joining the 6th grade team, I taught 7th grade Writing. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.A. in Creative Writing, EKU with a B.S. in Middle Grade Education and a M.A.Ed. in Gifted and Talented. I previously taught in Lexington, Winchester, and in Ft. Benning, Georgia. I have two sons: James and Jackson. I am the head archery coach for Bowling Middle School. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, camping, hiking, watching hockey (Go Preds), and Tennessee Football (Go Vols).
Hello! My name is Alysia Schadler and I am a 6th Grade English Language Arts teacher at Maurice Bowling Middle School! I have been a guest teacher for several years and I absolutely love teaching. I have 7 children of my own and they are absolutely amazing! I spend my spare time at band rehearsals, sports practices, and games. Mrs. Moore is a 2001 Graduate of Georgetown College. She has a Bachelor's of Science in Biology/Chemistry. She has a Master´s degree in Teaching. She began teaching at Owen County Schools in 2011. She has taught 5th grade, 6th grade, and 7th grade. Mrs. Moore lives with her husband and 5 children. Together, their family enjoys spending time together, playing basketball, and fishing.
My name is Stacy Lilly and this is my 12th year of teaching (my 3rd year teaching 6th grade Social Studies). I am from Owen County and am a 1997 graduate of Owen County High School. I attended Georgetown College for my undergraduate degree and received my Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of the Cumberlands. I love teaching and it is truly a joy to be in my hometown teaching our students. In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
