Tammy Smith

Hello. I am the 5th grade science teacher at MBMS. I have been a resident of Owen County my entire life. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as an Instructional Assistant at MBMS for 9 years. Because of my love for this job, and for kids, I decided to pursue my degree in teaching.  My husband, Paul Kevin Smith is also an Owen County Native. We have been blessed with two children: Kayla and Corby.   My favorite things to do in my spare time is to spend time with my husband and my fur babies: Spunky and Jitters. I also enjoy being outdoors and taking Jeep rides. My favorite place to visit is the ocean.
