Welcome Back to School

As we open the doors to a brand-new school year in Owen County Schools, we are excited to welcome our students, staff, families, and community back! Each new year brings fresh opportunities for growth, discovery, and connection.

Our mission remains strong which is to provide opportunities and resources where all students will develop perseverance and a passion for life-long learning in a safe, supportive educational environment. With the support of our families and community, and the dedication of our staff, we are confident this year will be filled with meaningful learning experiences that prepare our students for success today and in the future.

This year is especially exciting as we are in the middle of a three-phase construction project that strengthens our district for years to come. Our current construction project focuses on life safety upgrades at Owen County Upper Elementary with upgraded parking and lighting as well as campus access and traffic flow improvements. Alongside this, we are investing in upgraded athletic facilities for football, softball, track and field, soccer, and baseball which will enhance opportunities for our student-athletes and create improved spaces that bring our community together!

We look forward to partnering with you as we continue building the future together because, when our students succeed, our whole community thrives.
