This week at OCHS...
Owen County Schools will not hold in-person classes on Monday, January 22nd, due to road conditions. This will be NTI Day #1 for both students and staff. Students should follow their school's NTI plan that is posted online as well as what has been communicated by our schools. If you have questions, please contact your child's teacher(s) and/or school administrators. Be safe and stay warm! #WEareOC #NTIDay

Due to the threat of inclement weather, ALL after-school activities, including athletic events, will conclude by 6 p.m. today. Information about tonight's Homecoming basketball game and festivities will be announced when a date is rescheduled.
Mark your calendars for the MBMS production of Laffin' School, an uproariously funny one act play! Play dates are January 26 and 27 at 7pm at the OCHS Auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door.

ATTENTION Parents and Seniors:
If a Senior student plans to attend a University/College in the Fall, both the Parent and Student must create a FAFSA ID. The FAFSA is the form that all students going to college must fill out in order to receive Grants, Loans, Work Studies and Scholarships. The form will be available in late December or early January to fill out on-line. A KHEAA Representative will be at OCHS on December 8th from 12Noon - 5:00PM in our Media Center/Library to help you set-up your FAFSA ID.
Please contact the Guidance Office to sign-up. You can call 502-484-4194 (you can leave voicemail), send an email to karen.lozier@owen.kyschools.us or have your Senior student stop in the Guidance Office.

Attention Dual Credit Seniors:
Homecoming week is September 25-29th and we do not want you to miss out on the fun! If you would like to be at school for the Homecoming Festivities throughout the week, there will be a sign in/out sheet for you in the front office. You may only sign in and out once per day and you will stay in the Media Center with Mrs. Gognat during class time. Attached are our Homecoming Week Dress Up Days that we encourage all students to participate in. We hope to see you all here!
